350: An Observation

When I listen to music

it infuses my words

and sinks into my lines

the sentences

become verses

made for a tune

that ends

with the song.

It's situational

multidimensional.

It works

only in the moment

at so many decibels

turned up

loud enough

to drown out the taps

each time I add

another word.

It will never realign

twice.

When the song ends

the poem

in its primal state

is lost.

Even this

is edited.
