334: Climbing the Ladder

People tell you to

"strive for the top"

"become part of the top 10%"

"become part of the elite"

strive to become financially stable

work until you have that

then you can live

reassured you have the chance to do it

and you do

throughout school, you do

you strive

you stay on top

and then it gets difficult

and you continue to strive

but forget to live

everything is about being on top

living; you can do that later

stay on top

and then ...

everything crumbles

I forgot

I forgot to take care of myself

everything was to be

what somebody else wanted

what do I want?
