321: Doomed to Bleed

He lingers
on the precipice of ruin,
waiting,
for the fall that is to come.
"Few
live long enough
to see their graces turned to curses."
Not anymore.
He sees it
every day,
glorifying one,
crucifying another.
Too much
rests on moral purity.
"Perfection
is our trademark."
No blemish,
no wrinkle,
no misplaced curl.
"We walk on a knife's edge."
Our feet are doomed to bleed.
