315: The Day Has Reached Its End

Frost creeps over the ground,

the day

has reached its end.

Like snowflakes swirling in the lamp light

we slowly come to rest

under gentle covers as the silence

closes softly around us

with a promise of golden fields and fruits

to satisfy the hunger

that ravages this world.
