276: Money Can't Buy Happiness

Money can't buy happiness.
Objects aren't permanent.
Things won't give you a continuous supply of joy.
Maybe they're right. Maybe a new pen
that's only 0.03 mm wide at the tip,
or enamel earrings shaped like golden koi
won't grant eternal joy and happiness.
But right now they say something about me.
Right now they are a manifestation
of a personal expression brought into visibility.
And that's a happiness I want to have.
