closing my eyes
I see your smile
warm like the sun
peeking at me through the grass
touching your arm
I take in the light
I feel the fire
brush against my leg
bathe in this ocean
soaking into your skin
drink up buttercup
drown in it
I need to break free
to come up for air—
so come at me
before I wake up.
